Frieze London 2018

4 - 7 October 2018

We are thrilled to announce that Kavi Gupta will participate in FRIEZE ART FAIR London 2018.

Our curation for this vital international art fair embodies our support and promotion of artists of diverse backgrounds and artistic interests, including artists from marginalized backgrounds whose unique creative perspectives transform the potential of art.

It will include, in part: historical and recent works in conversation by Richard Hunt and AFRICOBRA founder Gerald Williams; site-specific original work by Jessica Stockholder; performative garments and beaded paintings by Jeffrey Gibson; new-media work by Glenn Kaino involving machine learning; new works by Mickalene Thomas, Young-Il Ahn, Manish Nai, Beverly Fishman, and Firelei Báez; and works by Irena Haiduk which serve as an extension of her ongoing Yugoexport project, which was featured at Documenta 14 in 2017.

The multi-faceted perspective of our FRIEZE LONDON booth will place dual emphasis on historic and avant-garde aesthetic positions, and embrace complete openness towards formal, conceptual and technical disciplines, underlining our belief in the urgent need to foreground imaginative voices.

After years of participating in Frieze New York, it is our privilege to begin sharing our programming and our vision with FRIEZE LONDON audiences. We believe that London is a crucial intersection for international dialog, and FRIEZE LONDON is the leading platform for the kinds of cultural exchanges at which our program excels!
