Kavi Gupta is pleased to be among 38 dealers invited to participate in the inaugural Felix LA art fair, which will take place from February 14-17, 2019, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, coinciding with Frieze Los Angeles.
Felix LA is the brainchild of art collector Dean Valentine and art dealers Alberto and Mills Morán of LA’s Morán Morán gallery. According to organizers, this boutique, invitation-only contemporary art fair offers “a more intimate fair experience for collectors, dealers, and artists that prioritizes connoisseurship, collaboration, and community.”
Felix promises to stand out thanks to its unique mixture of large and mid-sized galleries, which will appeal to a broad cross section of collectors. It will also set itself apart thanks to the classic architectural charm of the hotel itself. Dealers will exhibit inside the historic suites of the hotel, with the historic and luxurious interiors of the hotel creating a striking, salon-like atmosphere in which the public can interact with the works on a personal scale.
For the inaugural edition of Felix LA, Kavi Gupta is proud to be exhibiting works by Roxy Paine, Inka Essenhigh, Beverly Fishman, Tony Tasset, Scott Reeder, Clare Rojas, Angel Otero, Patrick Chamberlain, Kennedy Yanko, AFRICOBRA co-founders Gerald Williams and Sherman Beck, and Los Angeles-based artists Young-Il Ahn and Glenn Kaino.
